Every year I vow to learn to knit. Despite many kind offers from people to teach I've never actually pinned anyone down for a lesson. Many many failed solo attempts left me disheartened and in the end last year I gave up and reached for the crochet hook instead. But for Christmas I recieved a new craft book about crochet AND knitting. I also was kindly gifted some needles so without much hope I started again! I really do feeling like I'm finally getting somewhere . I'm starting small , a scarf for my daughter, but hope to progress to actual garments before too long! Wish me luck!
